Madonna fans in Singapore, I’m Going To Tell You A Secret. Well, not so much a secret as Something To Remember. Ready? You Can Dance now, because it’s finally official: The Queen of Pop has confirmed she’ll be bringing her Rebel Heart Tour here next month - on 28 February, 8pm at the National Stadium, to be exact! Now, isn’t that cause for Celebration?
While she’s released numerous albums (including 13 studio ones) in the course of her 33-year stellar career, this is actually the first time the popstar will be performing in the Little Red Dot. Not that we’re complaining - if we had to pick just one Madonna concert to see here, it would probably be Rebel Heart.
After all, since it kicked off in Montreal, Canada, on 9 September last year, the tour - which includes singles from the album like Bitch I’m Madonna, Living For Love and Ghosttown - has earned rave reviews worldwide.
The Times of London dubbed it “one of her best” and the New York Times called it “unstoppable”, while Rolling Stone said, “Madonna spent three hours in New York proving what a goddess she is.”
London’s The Independent put it even more succinctly, “This is Madonna’s world; she is the Queen of it and we are all her lowly servants.”
