It’s ironic how popular meal delivery service Foodpanda is actually trying to lure us outdoors for a change, with their Bites&Vibes festival.
The day-long event, which takes place on Sunday, 9 September, from 12pm to 10pm, will see Chinatown’s Amoy Street come abuzz with food stalls featuring Mexican fare from Vatos Urban Tacos, gourmet sandwiches from Park Bench Deli, bite-sized morsels from Dumpling Darlings, scoops from Ben&Jerry’s, Greek cuisine from Alati, burgers from burger joint Singapore, and more.
Wash it all down with tipple such as Tiger Beer, vino from PengWine, and cocktails from Proof&Company HQ. Then, work off those calories with a variety of free fitness classes conducted by instructors from Pure Yoga, WeBarre and F45 Training, or enjoy a selection of fun lawn games such as XXL Jenga.
Those who just prefer Sundays to be really, really lazy can just groove to tunes by Sam Rui, Maricelle, Bari Rumbles Brass, DJ Mack Hanson, Toppings, and more. Energizer bunnies who’re still up and about can head for the after-party at Employees Only, the international outpost of Employees Only New York, which was voted the fourth best bar in the world by The World’s 50 Best Bars.
