He’s a world-renowned designer, photographer, curator and every celebrities’ best friend. But there’s another role that few people know belong on Lagerfeld’s resume: Actor.
Yep - young Lagerfeld actually played an aristocratic German in an underground ’70s film titled L’Amour, co-written by Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey.
Better known as Andy Warhol’s L’Amour, the film follows two American hippies - played by Donna Jordan and Jane Forth - through Paris in their search of love, sex and rich husbands. (Nothing much has changed, eh?)
“It was the most childish movie-making ever,” the typically brazen Lagerfeld said of the work in an interview with T: The New York Times Style Magazine.
