ICYMI, Burberry has made some big changes to the way it presents its latest collections.
Firstly, unlike most brands, the fashion house will not be showing its Spring/Summer 2017 collection at London Fashion Week. Instead, it will showcase what it calls its September collection, for both womenswear and menswear, that’s designed for the current season instead of spring and summer.
Secondly, the entirety of the September collection will be available in stores and online immediately after the show.
That’s not all. To allow consumers to interact with and understand the collection better, the show venue, Makers Studio, will be open to the public from 21 to 27 September. Artisans from British collective The New Craftsmen, will be bringing the collection to life through various forms of craftsmanship, from sculpting to calligraphy.
For those at home, don’t worry, you can also watch the show in the comfort of your couch below, on 20 September, 2.30am Singapore time!
If you happen to be in London between 21 to 27 September, be sure to pop by Makers Studio at 1 Manette Street, London to experience the Burberry September collection for yourself.
