Tommy Hilfiger isn't the only one selling Hadid Power this season.
At House of Holland's tenth anniversary show at London Fashion Week, designer Henry Holland unpacked 22 new tees for fashion fans — and Bella / Gigi junkies — worldwide.
"The shirts are really how we made a name for ourselves," Holland said backstage, referencing his raunchy rhyming tees that served as both inside jokes and status symbols for the style set. (Our favorites were "Do me in the park, Marc" and "Nail me daily, Christopher Bailey." "Wham! Bam! Jessica Stam!" was good, too.) "We probably shouldn't have stopped making them so soon," Holland laughed, "So this is like a reboot. Like Star Wars!”
The lineup debuted on LOVE's blog before stomping down the runway in Easy London today. Future hits include "Let's breed, Bella Hadid," "Netflix and Chill, Taylor Hill" and — maybe the best one? — "Be my bae, Alessandro Michele.”
"They're not just cool," Holland grinned. "They're also a quite useful guide for pronunciation. Michele rhymes with bae. And do you know, some girls in my studio didn't know how to say Irina Shayk? Come on! She's a legend!”
Want to share the love? You can get them at Henry's website for about $97 each. "It's see now, buy now for real," Holland says. "The show starts in an hour. You can buy the shirts in an hour. It's literally right off the runway." (Actual Gigi Hadid not included.)
