This Exclusive Sneaker Was Sold Out In France

Find out where to buy it before it’s too late

Veja parrot print sneakers, $228

Call it French invasion: Ethical footwear brand Veja came together with artist-led cult label G.Kero to create an exclusive sneaker design that sold out in France within 24 hours of its launch. G.Kero’s founder and artist Marguerite Bartherotte decorated Veja’s signature sneaker, the Esplar, with a bright smattering of hand-painted colourful parrots inspired by the exotic landscapes of Rio de Janeiro for this collaboration.

Made from organic cotton and wild rubber from the Amazon, Veja’s sneakers are known to be ecological – a characteristic that’s admired by celebrity fans like Marion Cotillard and Charlotte Gainsbourg. Combined with G.Kero’s whimsical prints, we’re pretty sure this exclusive design is going to be sold out again soon – shop for it at Rue Madame (#03-13C Takashimaya) or now! Retailing at $228.
