Southeast-Asia’s Favourite Food Is All Over These Clothes

Mamee, Jollibee or Plain Vanilla tees, anyone?

Now you can keep your favourite bites close wherever you go. Because Uniqlo has come up with a super cute collection of t-shirts that feature many of Southeast Asia’s favourite snacks!

The 33-piece range includes men’s and women’s tees priced at $14.90 each, featuring prints of everything from Indonesia’s Mamee Monster snacks to Thailand’s Koh Kae peanuts and the popular Jollibee fried chicken from the Philippines.

Singapore’s contribution? A trio of tops by Plain Vanilla Bakery, one of which features an adorable graphic print of cupcakes on a grey background.

The series is the latest in Uniqlo’s Southeast Asian Corporate Collaboration project – this time around, the Japanese giant has teamed up with some of the region’s biggest food brands.

It will launch exclusively at Uniqlo’s newest outlet here at Tiong Bahru Plaza on 1 July (also the opening day for the store), following which the collection will be available at all other stores and online from 4 July. Of course, what’s a launch without cupcakes – you’ll get free Plain Vanilla cuppies when you spend $50 or more over the opening weekend, along with an Access Pass for discounts in the Tiong Bahru area.
