Carrie Bradshaw once famously declared in the show Sex and the City, “I like my money right where I can see it — hanging in my closet.” When it comes to investments, so do we.
When picking out an investment bag, there are two things we consider:
1. Is it timeless?
An investment bag should see us through a lifetime of wardrobe crises and will eventually become an heirloom. It should be a classic design that won't go out of style and of a quality that lasts forever (provided if proper case is given to it).
2. Will it appreciate in value?
Has the price of the bag you're lusting after increased, regardless of the state of the economy? If the answer is yes, then go ahead and lay down the cash/credit for it. There’s no time like the present as you’ll never know when the next price increase will happen. And you know what they say — the longer the wait, the deeper the hole in your pocket (totally makes sense in this instance).
