Seoul Fashion Week: What Androgynous Dressing Looks Like

According to these Korean labels

Today, I went to two fashion shows for Seoul Fashion Week for the labels Surreal But Nice and 87MM Seoul.

As their brand name suggests, Surreal But Nice has made a name for itself with its quirky yet luxe designs. This season, a safari-themed collection was sent down the runway — think utilitarian jackets, khaki pants and boots that seem perfect for both girls and guys. The slogan “Hit the Bull’s Eye” was emblazoned across a number of pieces, which I though was a fun touch.

Menswear label 87MM Seoul also stayed true to its aesthetic. Known for their polished and refined yet elaborate pieces, both male and female models walked down the runway in sleek shirts, pants and shorts, finished with bold fur coats and jackets that all featured quilting.

If there’s something both labels proved with their Fall/Winter 2016 collections, it’s that the blurring of gender lines in fashion looks super chic.
