’Tis the season for Spring Summer collections, so of course flowers have to figure somewhere, right? The wonderful people at Kate Spade New York understood that at this year’s New York Fashion Week, and made it their duty to bestow everyone with a bouquet.
For the brand’s SS16 presentation inspired by daydreams and day trips, Kate Spade teamed up with floral company FTD to hand-pick and deliver almost 30,000 flowers to guests and passers-by.
That “spring time feeling” was seen across the collection too, mostly in bright-hued prints on feminine numbers and some pared-down florals splashed across more subtle pieces. Our favourite? The striped, sequinned pieces - perfect from day to night.
Of course, there were also the whimsical brand’s signature quirky bags which made everything even more fun and lively.
We already know what we’re going to get when the collection hits stores - do you?
