Local jeweller Carrie K has unveiled a new capsule collection in collaboration with Disney, inspired by the movie-making brand’s upcoming film, Alice Through the Looking Glass. This marks the first partnership between Disney and a local designer.
"We think that life is too serious, so we try to sprinkle a little magic into peoples’ lives through the playful stories in our jewellery,” explains Carolyn Kan, founder and designer of Carrie K. “So when Disney approached Carrie K. to work with them, it felt like a match made in heaven."
The whimsical collection features two ranges – Key Hole, which reflects the story’s main motif, and Time (named after the new villain played by Sacha Baron Cohen in the film), with clockwork gear as the highlight.
The collection will be available for pre-order from 25 June online, and launched at Carrie K Atelier and Takashimaya on 1 July, ahead of the premiere of Alice Through the Looking Glass on 6 July. Prices range from $228 to $1,180. Click through above to see the collection!
