In case you missed it, Choi Siwon from K-pop group Super Junior and supermodel Liu Wen (who’s his reel-girlfriend on reality TV show Let’s Fall in Love) are the faces of H&M’s Chinese New Year 2016 collection, launching in stores 21 January!
This is the third consecutive year that the high-street label is releasing an exclusive range for the Lunar New Year. And like always, it’s filled with pieces for women, men and kids that are chic, totally appropriate for visiting family, and easy on the wallet.
What we love about the collection (besides the gorgeous campaign stars, of course) is that we can see ourselves donning the clothes even if we don’t celebrate the holiday. While red does feature in a lot of it — it’s a CNY collection, after all — nothing here will make you look like a walking ang bao.
Stand-outs include an intricately embroidered skirt and an adorable jumper in a monkey-emoji print!
To ring in the new year, H&M is also rolling out a bunch of discounts and offers. From 21 January, enjoy Chinese New Year deals from $9.90 and up to 50 per cent off selected items. Plus, when you shop from 30 January to 6 February, you’ll receive a CNY voucher that gives you $8 off your purchases from 15 to 20 February.
Need to clear some space in your wardrobe first? Bring your old clothes and home textiles like pillowcases and bed sheets to any H&M store, where you’ll be helping to recycle them and receive a discount voucher for your efforts at the same time.
In the meantime, click through above for a preview of the collection, and the pieces to bookmark!
