Need an excuse to indulge in some retail therapy this weekend? Well, here’s one — Coach has released its first ever Pre-Fall collection, and trust us when we say there’s plenty to shop there.
If you haven’t noticed, the brand has gone through some big changes in the past couple of years. We’ve always known and loved Coach for its leather goods and accessories, but since executive creative director Stuart Vevers came along, it’s moved on to become much more than that.
With the launch of its full-fledged premium ready-to-wear line Coach 1941 line last year, the label has proved itself a serious contender in the mainstream fashion world.
And now, the brand has cemented its position with its new Pre-Fall collection. The mid-season range is a continuation of the vintage Americana aesthetic we saw in Spring 2016, with more modern, quirky and sporty elements derivative of metropolitan New York.
The result is an eclectic collection with both trendy pieces and wardrobe staples that we’re honestly (really, truly) so excited to shop.
One key design element you’ll see throughout the collection is a super cute cartoon dinosaur, which makes an appearance on snuggly sweaters, jackets and dresses.
There’s also a range of bomber jackets — the outerwear of the season — in a variety of prints, patterns and even with delicate embroidery.
Of course, since it is Coach, leather is featured heavily, on motorcycle jackets, vests, skirts and dresses.
Once you’ve got everything you need clothes-wise, complete your outfit with the latest Coach 1941 statement bag, The Rogue. With a simple, practical, roomy design and fun variations made with patchwork leather, studs and printed calf hair, this carryall is set to be your new wardrobe must-have.
