Never one to be shy with her style choices, Beyoncé stepped out in another directional new look during her On The Run II tour stop in New Jersey.
The singer took to the stage wearing head-to-toe heritage Burberry check in an outfit custom-made for her tour. The look featured a bustier and shorts, with matching hooded jacket, gloves, sunglasses and thigh-high boots - all in that same iconic print.
The singer has been showcasing a variety of bespoke outfits during her joint world tour with husband Jay Z, by designers including Balmain, Dundas and Gucci. As a long-time fan of Riccardo Tisci - she memorably wore his Givenchy designs several times to the Met Gala - it makes sense that Beyoncé would now be championing Burberry in such a prominent way.
While at one time, wearing head-to-toe Burberry check may perhaps not have been a desirable look, the instantly recognisable print has had a resurgence in recent seasons, thanks to Christopher Bailey's final collections at the helm of the fashion house - in which he put the heritage check front and centre, in a variety of different iterations.
Earlier this month Tisci unveiled a new Burberry logo and monogram - indicating the start of his new chapter for the heritage brand. Until now we've not had many glimpses of what he plans to do with the label, but we have a feeling that he's not going to be shying away from Burberry's most famous print.
Tisci's first collection for the brand will be unveiled during London Fashion Week in September.
