Since Anthony Vaccarello stepped into the role of Saint Laurent’s creative director, little is known on what to expect for Vaccarello’s debut collection for the fashion house, due to be shown at Paris Fashion Week in October.
So far, as part of the label’s #YSL01 campaign, we’ve got teaser videos of models dressed in plain black pants and bandeaus, and a set of dreamy, moody black and white shots.
Unveiled on 15 September, the label’s #YSL02 campaign is equally elusive.
The mysterious campaign star, dressed in an ornate embroidered bodysuit and a leather jacket, poses between the two banks of Paris (a throwback to the heritage of Yves Saint Laurent), her hair billowing and covering her face.
Curious to know who it could be?
*cue drumroll* It’s iconic Polish model and Vaccarello’s muse Anja Rubik, lensed by renowned Dutch photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin!
While — like the previous campaigns — it doesn’t say much, but if anything, it's made us even more excited to see what Anthony Vaccarello is going to bring to the table this season.
