Model Ashley Graham has taken a swing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the lack of size diversity on its runways.
The 30 year old—who has made incredible strides as a plus size model—posted a photoshopped image of herself, made to look like she was walking in the show, to her Instagram.
The image, which shows Graham with a pair of photoshopped feather wings on, with a sparkly runway background, was captioned, “Got my wings! .. my #AdditionElle wings! #thickthighssavelives”.
The Addition Elle hashtag refers to the lingerie brand by the same name, with which Graham has a line of lingerie and has walked for in the past.
Many of the model’s fans took her cheeky 'gram as a jab at Victoria’s Secret, which has yet to cast a plus-size model in its show, despite preaching the way of inclusivity.
And this isn’t the first time Graham has spoken out against the VSFS for its lake of size diversity—she participated in a Lane Bryant lingerie campaign in September, in which she boldly claimed, “I’m no angel” (referring to the Victoria’s Secret Angels, which are the company’s brand ambassadors).
Graham also spoke to TMZ about the issue last year, telling them that plus-size models deserve a chance to walk the runways, and that she would take up the opportunity if offered.
