#1 Cold water is good for you

“Do this for the last minute of your shower. It seals hair cuticles and stimulates blood flow to your scalp to encourage healthy hair growth. It helps with your skin, too – everything tightens up and you get blood flowing to where you need it.”

#2 Get your hair cut often

“Schedule an appointment every six to eight weeks. Ridding split ends prevents the gash from travelling up the hair shaft and weakening it further.”

#3 Shampoo less

“Shampoo every three to four days to regulate sebaceous flow into your hair. Any more than that, you’re wicking moisture away. To keep strands fresh between washes, spray dry shampoo either onto a brush and comb through or directly on the areas that need it.”
