It was all about beautiful, luminous skin and a bit of smudged, lived-in liner at the Tory Burch Spring 2016 show in New York City. Makeup artist Diane Kendal channelled the designer’s inspiration for beauty in unexpected places, enhanced by time and nature, to create this fresh, relaxed and oh-so-wearable look.
Here’s how you can recreate it at home:
After base makeup, Kendal applied the Gamine shade from the Tory Burch Pas du Tout Eyeshadow Palette ($95) over the entire lid to create a matte yet natural-looking wash of colour. To define your eyes, line them with the M.A.C Eye Kohl in Teddy, finishing with a winged tip at the corners. For that “worn-in” soft smoky look, gently smudge the line with your fingertip.
Reproduce the models’ fresh glow by sweeping the Tory Burch Bronzer & Blush in Divine ($70) onto the apples of the cheeks.
Complete the look by mixing the Tory Burch Lip Color in Pas du Tout ($45; coincidentally this is also Burch’s personal favourite shade) with a bit of concealer. Pat this onto the lips for a subtle hint of colour.
