Don’t Worry, The New Louboutin Fragrances Do Not Smell Like Feet

Think florals and musks instead

Besides one of the most iconic shoe soles of all time, Christian Louboutin has also created some pretty amazing beauty products over the years. Who can forget that iconic, insanely covetable (and semi-dangerous) nail polish and lipstick?

And now, Christian Louboutin is adding its first range of fragrances to its beauty repertoire.

Each of the three new scents is encased in bold, avant-garde glass bottles designed by celebrated British designer Thomas Heatherwick. With pretty ombre colours and an unusual shape, this is one perfume you want to put on display.

Packaging aside, what do the perfumes smell like? Don't worry, they smell nothing like feet.

Choose from the tropical Bikini Questa Sera, which boasts notes of jasmine, tuberose and Australian sandalwood; the feminine Tornade Blonde, with notes of Bulgarian rose, violet, jasmine and gardenia; and the dark and mysterious Trouble in Heaven, sporting notes of bergamot, cascalone, amber and patchouli.

Each perfume has a distinct scent profile that’s made to suit different women.

“I wanted to celebrate a woman and her desires. I wanted these fragrances to enhance an aspect of her personality, or perhaps reveal something about her that no one knew before, maybe not even her, tell a secret, a story. I want to give women the means to express themselves and to delight in their femininity,” said Louboutin in a statement.

The perfumes aren’t currently out in stores locally or on Christian Louboutin’s Singapore website, but if you’re impatient, use a reliable forwarding service and shop them here
