As we collectively drool over photos of tantalising meals on the social media platform, photoworld.com decided to do a little detective work and find out which dishes get hashtagged the most in different cities.

We're not sure whether the results mean that the tagged dishes are truly popular or simply more photogenic, but either way, the project churned out some unexpected results.
