Blogilates is a lifestyle all about positivity and good vibes. The friendship and sisterhood within the Blogilates community is really infectious! Every time I meet a POPster, it’s like we’re cut from the same fabric. It’s a very balanced, happy lifestyle — the way you work out and respect your body influences how you eat and how you treat other people, too.
What’s your motivator to get fit and see your body get leaner and become or toned?
Personally, it’s how happy and sharp I feel after a workout. That’s why I keep doing it; not because I’m afraid to get fat, or because I need to lose a specific amount of weight. Wake up in the morning and do your workout, and you just feel good. I keep remembering that feeling.
How can the Blogilates lifestyle be embraced?
The Blogilates lifestyle has three pillars: Fitness, food and happiness. I think every woman should aim to hit all three. First, energise your body from the inside, which means eating whole, natural ingredients. Then, stick to a form of exercise you love, and the happiness factor follows.
You have to truly live for yourself; do what you’re passionate about so you give yourself a 100 per cent chance to succeed. If you don’t, you’ll never know how far you could have gone. You can’t be successful if you’re unhappy — people have to understand that. Find your happiness first, and success will follow.
