Saint Laurent Pre-Fall 2016

Rumour has it that Hedi Slimane may be departing the house of Saint Laurent, but that didn’t stop the designer from showing the world one of his best collections yet at the brand’s Pre-Fall 2016 show last week.

Held at the Palladium concert hall on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, it featured a unisex collection that stayed in line with his Spring-Summer 2016 glam-rock collection. Think glitzy midi dresses, leather gauchos cinched at the waist with blinged-out buckle belts, peasant necklines, billowy sleeves and luscious fur coats.

Needless to say, when a huge fashion house holds such an extravagant show in the heart of Hollywood, it’s only natural that the biggest of names show up.

And indeed, the audience held as many stars as the collection itself, with Lady Gaga, Lenny Kravitz, CL, Courtney Love, Sylvester Stallone, Beck, Sky Ferreira, Lenny Kravitz, Zoë Kravitz, Jessica Alba, Gary Oldman, Pamela Anderson and Alexa Chung holding court in the frow.

The night ended with an after-party performances by Joan Jett and Beck.

Sounds more like an awesome rock concert than a fashion show? It was. Watch it for yourself here.
