If we asked you to name your favourite style icons of all time, chances are Kate Moss’s name will be in the mix. The original supermodel-turned-fashion-icon’s brand of cool is inimitable – but it hasn’t stopped us from trying. We especially adore her simpler looks, and are still baffled by how she manages to look absolutely amazing in a button-down shirt and skinny jeans.

Thankfully, Equipment – the French label known for its killer silk shirts – has made it easier for us to channel the style icon’s cool sense of dressing by asking her to design a capsule collection.

The collection includes shirts, blazers, sweaters, slip dresses, a military jacket and pants – all designed with a colour palette of red, black, white and grey. Moss’s authentic touch comes through clearly in the details, such David Bowie-inspired and leopard prints, as well as the handwritten “KM” initials in monogrammed embroidery.

"We loved having Kate so hands on during all parts of the process, every step of the way," said Equipment CEO, Jack Schwefel in a statement.  "The synergy is effortless as she's been building a relationship with our brand for years and we look forward to expanding the relationship for many more."

The capsule collection will be available on Equipmentfr.com and Net-a-Porter from 2 June.
