As the saying goes, two is better than one - and designers are applying that philosophy to bags this Fall-Winter. The bag-within-a-bag made an appearance on more than a few runways this season, in a variety of shapes and styles. Needless to say, this is one of the biggest bag trends right now, because who doesn't like two for the price of one? Here are three of our absolute faves.
Inside bag by Prada
We’re putting our moolah on this becoming the brand’s latest It bag. Seen in an array of colours on Prada’s Fall/Winter 2015 runway, it’s designed to be carried with the exterior open so the non-detachable pouch inside can peek cheekily out. Playful yet classic.
Staple pony-hair tote bag by Boss
Unlike Prada’s Inside bag, this black beauty can actually be taken apart to become two separate bags. You might expect the inside version to be of a less luxe material, but guess what? It’s made of lush pony hair too, plus has its own handle.
Cabacity 45 Bag, $14,300, by Hermès
Hermès’ Cabacity features a clean and structured exterior that cossets a more relaxed twin with a drawstring closure. It’s the perfect combination of both classic and casual - we can totes see ourselves using it every day.
