On the last night of NYFW, Marc Jacobs took over New York’s Ziegfeld Theatre and created a cinematic extravaganza for all his guests.
Popcorn and drinks were served and copies of Playbill magazine provided.
And what’s a major one-night-only performance without a red carpet and the incessant flash of cameras? Models strutted down the scarlet river outside the theatre, then stopped and posed for pictures like superstars would, before continuing into the theatre for part two.
The theatrics continued inside as supermodels like Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid sashayed to the rhythm of a live orchestra.
Speaking of models, Jacob’s longtime muse and friend, Beth Ditto, surprised everyone when she made a special appearance on the runway in a white dress.
Meanwhile, the up-and-coming model and actress, Emily Ratajkowski, made her debut runway strut in a cute sailor-like ensemble.
With his all-American themed collection and the models’ disheveled hair and makeup, Marc Jacobs closed NYFW with a bang.
P/S: Who needs the MGM lion when you’ve got Neville?
