This App Can Prevent You From Becoming A Bridezilla

Connect with 15,000 vendors for your one awesome wedding

True story: A friend of a friend had her wedding florist and her cake maker fall ill just a day before the wedding, leaving them unable to produce the goods for the big day – and the event flower-less and cake-less because she couldn’t find replacements in time.

Naturally, she was in a horrible mood on the day itself and fell out with one of her bridesmaids, not to mention was immortalised in her wedding photographs looking really, really grumpy.

All of which might not have happened had the Bridestory app existed at the time. The app, which launched this week and is an extension of Bridestory, Asia’s leading wedding marketplace, is a handy way to connect to a vast network of vendors with just a few taps.

Whether it’s a photographer, baker or accessories maker you need, the app is a formidable fount of everything bridal-related. Want a floral arch made from exotic blooms? Consider it done. How about wedding photos that make you look like you’re in your favourite K-drama, or favours that people actually want to take home? Say no more. The app has a whopping 15,000 vendors, so you’re bound to find a business that will magick up what you want.

You can also create mood boards via the Inspiration Board function and share them with your bridal party, as well as see the prices of services and vendor reviews plus message businesses instantly.

You won’t have to worry about not getting a reply, either - Bridestory has a partner app called Bridestsory Pro for its vendors, which allows them to manage inquiries round the clock.

Says Bridestory’s co-founder Kevin Mintaraga, “We hope to make it easier and faster for many more engaged couples to connect with thousands of wedding vendors across the world, in alignment with our mission – to make dream weddings possible.”

Sounds like a great idea - not only for brides, but the people around them.

The Bridestory app is available for free download on iPhone and Android.
