New Horror Drama From The Walking Dead’s Creator

Watch the trailer for “Outcast” here

If you’re a fan of The Walking Dead, you’re gonna want to keep your eyes on the upcoming tv series Outcast. Based on another of Robert Kirkman’s comics, the 10-episode supernatural drama is scheduled to debut on Cinemax on 3 June. If Kirkman’s name doesn’t ring a bell, you might know him as the man behind comic book series and tv drama, The Walking Dead.

The spooky trailer features that dark, gritty, slow-burn horror feel that The Walking Dead fans are crazy about, minus the zombies and insane cast strength (for now). Outcast follows the story of Kyle Barnes (played by Patrick Fugit, known for his leading role in Almost Famous), a troubled man whose family has been targeted by demonic possession. An unconventional Reverend Anderson (Philip Glenister) teams up with Barnes to help him understand the cause of these supernatural occurences.

We have a feeling this is going to be a good one – after all, it has already been renewed for a second season ahead of its premiere on Cinemax. Watch the trailer here:
