This Is What Your Apple Watch Has Been Crying Out For

Introducing the world’s first water- and impact-proof case for your precious timepiece

You can finally put to rest that painful separation you feel when you’re apart from your loved one – if your loved one is the Apple Watch, that is.

iPhone case maker Catalyst has created the world’s first water-, impact- and dust-proof case for the 42mm version of the watch, so you never have to go long-distance with it again, even when you’re swimming or doing some high-impact activity.

The sturdy, sporty-looking hardshell case has a waterproof rating of IP68, which means it can withstand up to five atmospheres of pressure (equivalent to a depth of 50m). It also offers military-grade impact protection, so you can drop it from a height of about 3ft without totaling it (okay, so it’s not much unless you’re height-challenged, but better than nothing).

While the face and back remain uncovered so you have full access to your touchscreen, the light 35g case comes with a raised bezel that helps prevent scratches if you drop the watch on a flat surface. There’s also a special rotating dial that integrates the function of and protects the digital crown.

The Catalyst Apple Watch Case retails at $99 and is available in three colour combinations from Epicentre and Ante stores.
