You Won’t Have To Travel To Shop These Brands Anymore

Thank goodness for globalisation

There are some special brands that we feel should never, ever open in Singapore so that we continue to have reasons to travel (hope you read this, Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella!). But nothing makes us happier than when an interesting regular store opens here. Like these two, launching later this month. Ready, set, shop!

1. Miniso

This lifestyle store came under fire for masquerading as a Japanese brand when it’s really from China. But hey, almost everything in Daiso hails from China too, right? Just like Daiso, Miniso offers a staggering range of home, health, beauty and fashion products - all at affordable prices. We hear the most popular item is their liquid eyeliner, which has sold 1 billion units worldwide in the two years since the brand was founded. Look out for two stores opening here soon.

Opening: Saturday, 12 December

Shop Miniso at #04-15/16 Plaza Singapura, or #02-15/16 Harbourfront Centre.

2. Seed Heritage

There are already two Seed Heritage stores here, but the Australian children’s label will soon unveil its largest flagship boutique at Wisma Atria. Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, this is where you can go crazy shopping for your little ones. There’s something for kids in every stage of adolescence, from newborns to barely-legal 16-year-olds. FYI, following its opening on 10 December, the boutique will offer a storewide 20 per cent discount on Saturday 12 December - so prepare your credit cards.

Opening: Thursday, 10 December

Shop Seed Heritage at #01-25 Wisma Atria.
