We know – trawling the usual shopping haunts over and over can get really boring. Which is why we were super excited when a press release about Edit Lifestyle’s one-off Turkish Delight Grand Bazaar landed in our inbox. A pop-up version of Istanbul’s delightful Grand Bazaar - but without the touts and haggling? Yes please!

To be held from 28 August to 20 September, the event will offer a plethora of handcrafted objects from a dozen Turkish artisans, sourced from the secret shopping haunts of locals and those in the know. Think hand-tooled metal bowls, lush carpets made by a three-generation-old rug company, intricately woven kaftans and more.

The icing on this Turkish Delight: One-of-a-kind jewellery inspired by the glorious Byzantime and Ottoman eras, and made by Turkey’s star jeweller Sevan Biçakçi. This is the first time his pieces, whose fans include Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Gwyneth Paltrow and Tory Burch, will be available in Asia.

Time to prep those wallets for some serious shopping, no? In the meantime, see our top 10 picks from the bazaar in the gallery above.
