If you haven’t already heard, Style.com is now owned by Condé Nast and will relaunch next year - not as the fashion news and trends portal that we once knew, but as an e-commerce site.

Well, guess who was just named its fashion director? Here’s a clue: She’s a street-style maven who’s often photographed alongside Eva Chen and Giovanna Battaglia during Fashion Week.

Yep - it’s Yasmin Sewell, fashion consultant and co-founder of the successful label, être cécile.

According to Style.com president Franck Zayan, “Yasmin’s unique vision for products, trends and talents will be pivotal in Style.com’s growth. She is one of the most sought-after consultants in the industry, so having her as a full-time member of our team is a great accomplishment.”

Sewell is equally chuffed to be on board. “This is a game-changing project and I’m thrilled to be working with the world’s best and most exciting brands, and to set a strong vision for the evolution of Style.com,” the 36-year-old said.

While we wait and see what she does with the new e-commerce site, click through for a couple of her best street looks.
