What about a trip to Venice this month? Or at least, the closest you can get to it here.
Until 22 October, you can take a stroll through a Floating City-inspired lane inside level 2 Takashimaya. The pop-up, brought to you by Bonia, showcases the artistic inspiration of its creative director Pepe Torres, and is adorned with gorgeous Italian touches like classic lamp posts and sketches of Venice’s Old Town.
Of course, the shelves are lined with that most Italian of things: A selection of Bonia’s Fall-Winter 2015 bags in heady, luscious leather.
Apart from the bag showcase, the pop-up will also feature an illustrator who will sketch customers and their buys on 10-11 and 17-18 October from 1pm to 7pm. The customised sketches will then be printed onto postcards for you to take home.
Then there’s the best news of all: Just for the duration of the pop-up, you get a discount of 10 per cent off regular-priced items (excluding special collection and limited edition bags). And until Sunday, 4 October, you can also, ahem, bag 20 per cent off selected items. Ready, set, shop!
