Remember those slim pairs of Levi’s 505 jeans worn by the likes of ’70s punk rockers Debbie Harry and The Ramones that we all wanted? Well, they’re back and better than ever.
Since it was launched in 1967, the iconic Levi’s 505 has been a counter-culture favourite, beloved by graffiti artists and rock stars alike for its straight-leg style and tough denim.
Now, almost 50 years since its release, the jeans have been transformed into the more modern 505 C. The 21st century update retains that classic silhouette, but now comes in a range of finishes, including a light-washed pair that comes pre-ripped at the knees, and another in a stone-grey finish, along with the classic dark indigo.
Need to get a pair? You'll have to wait - the new Levi’s 505 C jeans will be available at all Levi’s boutiques from July 2016 onwards.
