Dress Your Kids To Look As Stylish As You

It’s half the fun of being a mum, right?

There’s a crowd of posh new stores opening at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands later this year, and parents (along with doting grandparents, aunts, uncles et al) will be happy to know: More than a few of them are for kids.

First up, joining the mall’s other first-to-Southeast-Asia stores Baby Dior and Fendi Kids, is Dolce & Gabbana Junior (B1-55A). The Italian brand’s children’s line features miniature versions of its signature RTW floral-and-lace dresses for girls, while boys get suits and coats, and newborns the loveliest onesies. The champagne-coloured 131 sqm boutique also has nesting tables and plush velvet poufs that reference its neighbouring adult counterpart.

Next, legendary Parisian children’s fashion house Bonpoint – the ultimate in French chic and luxury - will open an outpost in December, where it will offer a selection of The Shoppe exclusives. Fans of the 40-year-old maison include Michelle Obama (she dresses her daughters in it), Kate Moss (all the flower girls at her wedding wore Bonpoint) and of course, the Jolie-Pitt clan.

Capping off the list is Armani Junior, which is also slated to open at the end of the year. Its opening will complete the biggest cluster of Armani collection stores in Singapore, now christened Armani/Marina Bay. And once you’re done with the baby and the kids (there’ll even be Armani Junior milk bottle holders), it will just be too convenient to score some treats for yourself. FYI, this cluster will be the first and only duplex in the region to house Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani and Armani Collezioni under one roof. Just sayin’.
