In case you didn’t know, Gucci's Alessandro Michele was ex-creative director Giannini’s head accessories designer at the house — so it’s no surprise that his first womenswear show for the brand (Fall/Winter 2015) was stuffed to the brim with lots of lust-worthy accessories. There were antique rings a-plenty, the new Dionysus bag, bohemian floral hairpieces, pom-pom beanies and more. But the show-stealers were the shoes, which heavily featured fur.
The footwear ranged from Chewbacca-inspired goat hair slippers to mink pom-pom lace-ups.
But the real highlight were the Horsebit mules lined in kangaroo fur that made their first appearance on the runways of Gucci’s menswear Fall/Winter 2015 show. Fashion lovers – including Marc Jacobs, who Instagrammed a pic of himself wearing a fur-lined clog – are already snapping the furry footwear up. Wanna get your hands on a pair? The Horsebit slippers in leather and fur are in stores now, for $1,320.
