Admit it — we’ve all tried to look as effortlessly cool as Alexa Chung. From that messy tousled lob to her laidback yet put together look, there’s just something about the model-turned-fashion-icon’s style that is so incredibly covetable.

Well, we’re one step closer now, thanks to Archive by Alexa, Alexa Chung’s fashion collaboration with another British icon, Marks & Spencer.

Using Marks & Spencer’s archive, Chung and the brand’s design team have pulled out pieces from the past, and given them a modern 2016 spin with fresh fabrications and colour palettes.

Speaking about her role in the collection, Chung said in a statement, “I rummaged through clothing, magazines and amazing old films and cherry-picked relevant items, bringing them back to life for 2016. I also took on the role of Creative Director for the campaign shoot, driving the overall aesthetic of the collection.”

Chung’s collaboration with Marks & Spencer is just the beginning of the brand’s ‘M&S &’ series, a sequence of exclusive collections with designers, brands and fashion icons, and we can’t wait to find out what and who they are. In the meantime, click through above for the pieces to shop from Archive by Alexa when the collection drops at Marks & Spencer at Wheelock Place on 14 April.
