Following a successful first run last year, Tangs is back with the social movement #ShopForGood! And this time, the homegrown store is partnering with over 50 brands to offer exclusive promotions to raise awareness and funds for various beneficiaries.
How it works: Throughout October, whenever you buy from a specially selected range of products, the purchased brand will donate part of the proceeds to a charity of its choice.
On top of that, Tangs will donate 50 cents (up to a maximum of $100,000) to the Singapore Children’s Society for every receipt generated during the month.
If you’re wondering when to go, make it this Saturday, because that’s when you can meet the #ShopForGood ambassadors - including one of our Girls Of Now, Charmaine Seah-Ong! - in-store between 2pm to 6pm, to discuss responsible shopping. (Obviously buying the right paper products comes to mind here.)
Veteran actor Edmund Chen will be there too, to share about his collaboration with Samsonite.
Meanwhile, those with green fingers can sign up for a flower arrangement workshop by local florist, One Olive. All proceeds from will be contributed to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Of course, the highlight of any trip to Tangs is the shopping. So here’s a couple of things you should #ShopForGood while you’re there. Shopping never felt so right.
Samsonite Summer, designed by Edmund Chen. $4,000 for a set of 4.
