Once upon a time, there was a small fur and leather workshop in Rome. Nine decades later, said workshop had grown into one of the world’s top luxury brands, with a reputation for meticulous craftsmanship and cultural involvement.

This year, as Fendi turns 90, the Roman house is celebrating with a collectible book that tells the story of its extraordinary journey from tiny atelier to global powerhouse, all whilst staying in touch with its Roman roots.

Published by Assouline, FENDI ROMA is an expression of the brand’s years of innovation, creativity, cinematic inspiration and craftsmanship, told through five chapters of archival photographs and stories, as well as 300 illustrations.

The book – wrapped in black canvas and presented in a multicolour slipcase box – will be available at Fendi boutiques and top bookstores around the globe from September, priced at approximately 185 euros ($284).
