ELLE Review: Dream Of Me Escape Rose Treatment

It’s blooming good

The hype

A facial, body scrub and massage from the new Dream of Me Escape series from Aramsa Spa that incorporates luxurious rose ingredients.

The pros

The spa has such lush green surroundings, I felt relaxed the moment I stepped in. To lull me into an even deeper sense of serenity, I was then given a warm foot bath and a full body scrub using a mix of natural salts, jojoba oil and rose petals (there’s a convenient en-suite shower to wash it all off afterwards).

Next: An hour-long massage using rose attar oil. I loved the long, fluid strokes used and amount of pressure was just right too, to relieve all tension.

Lastly, I was given a facial that was so gentle, I stayed in a dream-like state throughout. The icing on the cake was the Rose by Dr Dream skincare that was used - it has a skin-soothing effect plus hydration and anti-ageing benefits, so I stepped out feeling (and looking!) glowing and well-rested.

The cons

Because this was a facial and massage combined, you have to lie on the spa bed a tad bit longer than you might be used to. Not for the restless.
