You already know this – sleeping without removing your makeup is an absolute NO. This can lead to congested pores, breakouts and even fine lines. And after a tiring day, the last thing you want to do is struggle with removing layers of long-wearing foundation.
Our go-to product in this situation would be a cleansing oil. But if you find that your makeup is too thick, you might want to consider using a makeup-remover wipe first. This additional step is like sweeping the floor before you mop. Note: It isn’t enough to simply wipe the surface of the skin. Follow up with your usual cleansing oil and double cleanse with your regular facial cleanser.
To ensure there isn’t any makeup residue left, refresh the skin with a toner on a cotton pad, and continue with your skincare regime.
