A stay in weekend is the perfect time to dial up the romance with your significant other. Instead of just cosying up to each other when watching Netflix, engage in these couple activities:
Indulge in some home spa time by giving each other a facial mask session. (And while you’re at it, your hair and feet could use some TLC too. Just saying.) One of the easiest ways to nourish your skin is to use a sheet mask. After cleansing and exfoliating (this rids dead skin cells and allows the mask’s ingredients to penetrate better), apply the sheet masks for each other, watch some Breaking Bad, and remove the sheets after the stipulated time. Enjoy couple facial time and have great skin together.
A good rubdown can relax your muscles and nerves, and boost positive behaviour for a happier time together. Start your massage gently as the skin responses to even the lightest touch. Tip: Avoid areas with injury and never rub the spine directly. You can also try out these 9 sensual massage oils to get you in the mood.
Giving each other makeovers can be so much fun. One way is to dye your hair together with a DIY home kit. Colouring your own strands can be tricky, so you’ll probably want to save major transformations to the salon professionals. Colour takes best to hydrated strands, so you’ll want to make sure your tresses are well nourished before. (See #1: Try hair-masking together.) For a successful dye job, choose a colour that’s two to three shades lighter or darker than your natural colour. Bonus: Applying the dye for each other ensures you won’t miss a spot. While you’re waiting for the dye to work its magic, sit in a well ventilated area and continue Netflixing.
