Meet Your New Favourite Handmade Masks

Too lazy to pound and blend your own fresh treatments? Here’s where you can grab and go

Every Lush store we’ve walked past has scent-voodoo’d us to want to go in, grab a Bath Bomb and rush home to soak in a candlelit bath.

What else smells good? The brand’s new vegan Rosy Cheeks and Don’t Look At Me Fresh Face Masks that will be launched in stores this weekend - but only in a limited quantity. That’s because they’re hand-blended in small batches right here in the Lush Singapore kitchen, and as the ingredients are either freshly squeezed juices, extracts or whole fruits and vegetables, they have to be refrigerated at all times so they don’t go bad.

So make some space on your grocery list and in your fridge for these. We hear the masks (which can keep up to four weeks) will be stocked every Thursday or Friday at Lush stores island-wide.

Lush Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask, $32

This rose-scented pink concoction of rose clay, calamine and Turkish rose oil aims to soften, tone and soothe any redness caused by skin irritation — even on the body. Apply a layer of the calming mask onto skin, and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes (it should dry by then). Then rinse off to reveal skin that’s smoother and less blotchy.

Created with zingy lemon juice, this enzymatic and exfoliating bright blue mask will leave skin rejuvenated and instantly brighter. It’s also packed with nourishing murumuru butter that leaves skin soft as silk. Its scent: An uplifting blend of neroli and grapefruit.
