Singapore Beauty Secrets From A Hollywood Insider

Beauty expert Eric Jimenez lets you in on his hit list

Since visiting Singapore to launch Urban Decay in 2008, when he was the global makeup artist for the brand, Eric Jimenez has returned to our sunny island regularly. In fact, the affable chap, who’s now the co-founder and chief retail executive officer of beauty gadget Color Me, visits the Little Red Dot at least twice every year.

Here, the beauty buff shares his SG beauty and grooming hit list.

Favourite grooming spot

We Need A Hero; they’re great at keeping guys fuzz-free.

57 Eng Hoon Street, 6222-5590.

Favourite pampering treat

Every time I’m here, I must make a spa appointment at the Remède Spa. I always ask for William as my therapist and he’s just wonderful. I usually end up doing two days of treatments each time, and I let him decide which treatments I need. But my absolute favourite is the Warm Rassoul Wrap because it leaves my skin so smooth after. And if I have time to spare, I’ll pop in to do a Bastien’s Manicure and Pedicure too.

Remède Spa, The St Regis, 6506-6896.

Doctor on call

Currently I’m seeing Dr Lee Kok Wah at Parklane Medical Centre. He does this Ultra V Lift Thread treatment that takes years off, but it’s done oh-so-naturally that you’ll keep people guessing why you’re looking so good. It allows you to look like you, only better.

#02-25A Parklane Shopping Mall, 6334-6778.
