If you haven’t already been using a neck cream, you totally should. The neck is an extension of the face and unless you wear a turtleneck top every day, the quality of your neck skin shows your age as much as your face does.
But are you also applying your neck cream in the correct way? It’s not just about smearing it on and if you’ve been massaging it on using upward strokes in an upwards motion, stop now. Long strokes can actually drag and stretch the skin causing horrible turkey neck.
For the right way, check out this lesson from Clarins’ application video.
Take a generous amount of neck cream and warm it in by rubbing hands together.
Lightly dab the cream onto skin from your neck down to the décolleté. Remember to avoid using long, fluid strokes.
Press the cream into your skin gently but firmly. Use a press and release motion and lift your hands as you move downwards from neck to décolleté.

Remember, gently does it as you should treat your neck with the same care as you do your face.
