It was all about the eyes at the Chanel Spring 2016 show. Makeup artist Tom Pecheux created what we would like to dub a fresh and modern “frequent flyer” look, complete with “oversized aviators”.
Here’s how you can achieve that same look in five easy steps:
Keep complexion radiant with the Chanel Vitalumière Aqua.
Highlight the higher points of the face, like the brow bones, nose bridge and cheek bones, with the Chanel Éclat Lumiere Highlighting Face Pen.
To conceal spots and dark under-eye circles, dab on Chanel Correcteur Perfection Long Lasting Concealer.
For a fresh finish, lightly dust Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre over the face, especially on the T-zone area.
Or warm the complexion with a sweep of the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder.
To mimic those oversized aviators that A-list celebs often wear on board flights (and everywhere else, really), sweep sky blue hues from the Chanel Les 4 Ombres in No. 246 Tissé Jazz palette over the lids and across the nose bridge.
Bring light to your peepers by lining the undereye with a silver shimmer-infused eyeshadow, like the Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in No. 102 Mystério.
Finish by coating lashes with the Le Volume de Chanel in No. 70 Blue Night.
Complete the look with a soft, natural-looking pout. For a hint of colour, use the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in No. 477 Rêveuse.
