5 Weirdest Things You Can Do With Your Beauty Products

You won't believe where else you can apply underarm deodorant

We all love multi-tasking beauty products. But we bet you didn't know you can use these five products in these surprising ways:

1. Loose powder to give lashes extra volume.
Want your lashes to look fuller and thicker? use a small fluffy eyeshadow brush to lightly dust translucent loose powder onto your lashes in-between coats of mascara. The powder adds bulk to fine lashes.

2. Deodorant as a face mattifier.
Deodorant stops sweaty pits by temporarily plugging the pores with ingredients like aluminum chloride. Surprise! It works on the pores of your face too, to prevent greasy skin. To use on the face, swipe a little deodorant with your fingertips and pat lightly on oily areas like the T-zone. Remember to remove thoroughly with makeup remover and facial wash, or risk clogged pores and it's nasty consequences.

3. Hair conditioner doubles as shaving cream.
Need to shave your legs but ran out of shaving cream? Your conditioner can stand in. Conditioner makes for a smooth shave by lubricating the skin-blade contact and softens skin, just like a shaving cream or foam.

4. Rich moisturising cream can remove light makeup.
Traveling and forgot to pack makeup remover? Slather on a rich moisturising cream, massage it on and tissue off. This works best if the cream is an oil-based one, as the oil-ingredients help to lift off makeup.

5. Dry shampoo works to clean your makeup brushes.
Dry shampoos sop up grease and eliminates odor. In a pinch or to save time, you can use it to clean your makeup brushes too. But we recommend it for cleaning your powder brushes more than ones that you use to apply foundations and cream-textured makeup. And of course, wash those brushes with good ol' soap and water A.S.A.P.
