5 Discreet Beauty Tricks To Look Great In The Office

Beauty hacks you can do right at your desk

Sitting at our desks at work, we usually look as fresh as a daisy in the morning but as the day passes, we tend to get tired out and our makeup inevitably starts to look a little worse for wear. (Blame it on the workload!)

In any case, here are some inconspicuous little beauty tricks you can do to look (and feel) great always.

#1. A facial mist is a lifesaver.
Whether you pick one that's pure spring water or a mist that's infused with botanical extracts and essences to treat your skin, there's nothing like a refreshing mist on your face to perk up your skin. So uplifting.

#2. Don't keep piling on the powders.
Skin looking a little greasy as the day wears on? Refrain from piling on the powders to neutralise the shine, it will all just start to look cakey. Instead, take away the shine by blotting first then dust on the lightest swirl of pressed powder with a fluffy brush.

#3. Cream blusher is your friend.
Need a complexion pick-me-up? Reach for a cream blusher in a peachy pink shade. Dab a little on the apples of the cheeks, on the eyelids and even on the lips and pat to blend well. The rosy hue will make you look radiant and happy instantly.

#4. Flip your hair parting.
Shake up your hair too. Simply flip your parting to the other side, or just tousle your mane with your hands to get a boost of volume and body. If you have really fine or flat locks, a spritz of volumising dry shampoo will help.

#5. Slather on some hand cream.
Need a little feel-good factor post-lunch? Stash your favourite hand cream in your desk drawer. Applying it serves as a little pampering treat and a quick breather from work. Bonus points if it smells wonderful too.
