The Gucci Exhibition You Can’t Miss

No Longer/Not Yet is a fascinating peek into creative director Alessandro Michele’s worldview

First, the name: No Longer/Not Yet. What does it really mean? For Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele, it’s the concept of “newness”, of what’s contemporary in the social media age. It’s a continuation of the question, “What does contemporary mean?”, that he explored at his debut Fall 2015 show.

Seven artists, curated by Michele and Love magazine’s Katie Grand, attempt to address this in the exhibition which opened last Friday in Shanghai’s Minsheng Art Museum. Here’s a sneak peek.

No Longer/Not Yet runs from 17 October to 16 December at Minsheng Art Museum, Building F, 570, West Huaihai, Shanghai.
