How To Adapt Your Beauty Routine To Your Age

As we age, our skin undergoes a multitude of changes. The type, tone and texture of our skin is different when we’re in our 20s, 30s or 40s. Just like the way we change our style and fashion preferences as we age, it’s important to switch things up in terms of skincare, to ensure our skin gets exactly what it needs at that particular stage of our lives. 

While everyone’s skin is different, there are still some basic rules to help guide us through our beauty routines — here’s what you should do for beautiful skin at every decade.

20s

Acne is a common problem for people in their twenties. To battle breakouts, use a light, oil-free cleanser that contains salicylic acid to keep sebum-production levels balanced.
