There’s something we can’t wait to try come November – a foundation that ticks all the right boxes (for us at least). Cue: The Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go Liquid Compact. Longwear foundations are usually drying, but this is said to be hydrating and promises eight hours of wear, which means no creasing or melting even when the humidity rises. Plus, it’s housed in a spill-proof and mess-free compact for convenient application on-the-go.
To kick start the launch of this new base, Estee Lauder has collaborated with Singapore fashion illustrator Grace Ciao to create limited-edition designs for the compacts. Ciao has worked with fashion brands such as Chanel and Coach among others, and her signature style involves conceptualising creative fashion outfits by integrating flower petals into her illustrations.
For this collaboration, Ciao has designed three illustrations: Classy Chic, Hollywood Glamour and Modern Romantic to adorn the new Double Wear Makeup To Go Liquid Compacts.
There are only 50 hand-illustrated pieces available for pre-order from now until 28 October and you can click here to do so. Run, don’t walk.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go Liquid Compact, $68, will be available at Estee Lauder counters in November.
